In the heart of the 7th arrondissement, the charming rue Cognacq-Jay has been talked about for many years.
On the banks of the Seine, on the left bank, this street exudes calm and serenity. It was the birthplace of Jean-Luc Godard in 1930 and the television studios, installed in 1943 by the Germans. Until May 31, 1992, the street was home to the headquarters of Télévision Française 1, better known as TF1.
Rue Cognacq-Jay was the scene of the birth of French television. Today, it is located in the heart of the Ambassades district, a calm and quiet area.
